Semi-humorous quote of the day (at least I'm trying to look on the bright side.)
So, I was written up in a publication that is sent to all the towns in Worcester County and Northeastern Connecticut. *Sigh* Read what they wrote:
"Also at 283 Route 169 can be found Tell-Tale Books. The shop offers new and gently used stationery and more."
New and gently used stationery. So at Tell-Tale Books you can get paper that *WAS* written on, but then erased...and then available for re-sale.
What are these people THINKING??? Doesn't anyone PROOF anymore??!?!
And of course I'm thinking, "Well, maybe no one will notice." This was about five minutes before my wonderful next-door neighbors at Bebbington's Hair & Gift Emporium come in laughing and asking me to show them some of my "new & gently used stationery."
*SIGH*

Good grief! The CT papers have more errors than any I've come across lately...even more than up here, and that's saying something...Brother!
I think grammar and spelling errors are happening everywhere. I picked up a misspelling in the banner that runs beneath the Channel 5 news the other day...and when Maurie and I went to see LaBoheme, there was both grammar and spelling errors in the English translation that was flashed on the board. I'm sure Cherie can attest to how grammar and spelling are falling by the wayside in school.

I blame teachers. Right Cher!
Oh My goodness!!! This sucks, but your take on it really had me laughing!!
